IPDPS Seeks Papers, Tutorials

IPDPS 2002, the 16th annual International Parallel and Distributed Processing Symposium, is seeking papers for the conference, which will be held April 15-19, 2002, in Fort Lauderdale, FLA. IPDPS provides a forum for engineers and scientists from around the world to present research findings in parallel processing and distributed computing. Workshops and tutorials will be held on Monday, April 15 and Friday, April 19, and the middle days of the week will include addresses by invited speakers and presentations of contributed papers. Particularly hot topics will be further explored via panel discussions, ad hoc meetings, and discussions throughout the week. The conference also offers vendors the chance to exhibit their products and give presentations. The conference is sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Parallel Processing, in cooperation with ACM SIGARCH, IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Computer Architecture, and IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Distributed Processing. The deadline for submitting papers is Sept. 21, 2001. For more information, see the conference website at http://www.ipdps.org/ or send email to info@ipdps.org. Companies interested in participating in IPDPS 2002 should contact Karin Bondalapat (karin@cmln.com) by Oct. 20, 2001.
