Crossbeam Systems and Russian Telecom Equipment Company announced the creation of a joint venture to deliver security solutions in Russia and in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

The new joint venture – Crossbeam RT – offers high-performance security platforms that will enable customers to protect their networks with best-in-class security applications and meet the stringent requirements mandated by Russian and regional CIS governments for highly reliable and secure telecommunications. Crossbeam RT customers will benefit from the scalability, flexibility and built-in redundancy of Crossbeam’s X-Series platform to intelligently secure data traffic as threats and network demands change.

This allows customers to easily manage, provision and scale their security as requirements evolve. Today, more than 900 global enterprises, mobile operators and service providers, including 11 of the top 12 carriers, rely on Crossbeam for security services delivery.
