East Coast Diversified Announces New Hire Meredith Pruden as Sr. Communication and Media Relations Manager

East Coast Diversified Corporation announced its new hire of Meredith Pruden, who will join the team as the Sr. Communication and Media Relations Manager, effective immediately.

Pruden comes to ECDC from MER-itocracy Creative, a consulting agency where she served as Founder and CEO. She brings nearly 20 years of creative services experience for industry leading corporations, as well as a wealth of startup expertise to her role at ECDC. A compelling writer, editor and strategist with a journalism background, Meredith also is a content specialist who repeatedly has led teams to produce award-winning, high impact campaigns in both the traditional print and interactive spaces. This unique combination of skills, combined with a Master of Arts in Communication, makes her an ideal fit for the role of Sr. Communication and Media Relations Manager.

In her capacity at ECDC, Pruden will bring her extensive knowledge and experience to the company's marketing team, helping to strategically position ECDC and its subsidiaries in the global marketplace and foster meaningful relationships with the worldwide media. "Meredith brings a wealth of experience to our organization and management team at the most crucial time," ECDC CEO Kayode Aladesuyi said. "We are moving out of the development phase of our business to full commercial deployment for all four divisions of the company. We could not have found a better person to help deliver our message to the market."

"Today, every successful business requires a strong voice to build awareness of its achievements among consumers and the business community," Director of Marketing and Business Development Andrej Jeremic said. "Meredith's broad skill set will significantly contribute to creating a targeted communication strategy for each of the various stakeholders, which is necessary to champion and grow ECDC's four divisions."

"As an early adopter and technophile, I am so excited to work with the ECDC team, its innovative technology and corporate vision," Pruden said. "As a longtime consultant, I've worked with a variety of companies - from startups and small businesses to industry leaders - throughout my career, but it's a truly rare occurrence to be able to combine my rather unique background and skill set into one role. I'm looking forward to leveraging my creative, brand building, marketing, social media and copywriting experience to grow ECDC and its divisions."

Pruden's appointment comes during an exciting period of growth for ECDC, with the completed development and pending launches of StudentConnect, a student safety technology, and Vir2o, a new social engagement platform currently in beta testing.
