KDDI America Partners With CENX, Telx and Equinix to Expand Its US Domestic and Global Ethernet Networks
KDDI America has announced that it is now connected with CENX, Telx and Equinix, leading operators of Carrier Ethernet Exchange around the world, to provide its expanded Global Ethernet Networks for enterprise and wholesale customers. The initial connections are at Carrier Ethernet Exchanges in New York, Chicago, Virginia and Los Angeles, creating seamless connections with KDDI America's extensive high-speed fiber network and providing end-to-end connectivity and scalable bandwidth throughout the United States and around the globe.
The new connections dovetail with KDDI America's deployment of Layer 2 Ethernet Switches in key data centers and bring access to CENX, Telx and Equinix Ethernet Service Locations for KDDI America's wide variety of domestic and International business customers. By joining the Carrier Ethernet Exchanges, KDDI America enables offer end-to-end business-class services with the highest quality levels, which has been the hallmark of its Ethernet network deployment for more than ten years.
