Enterasys Offers Industry's First Lifetime Warranty on Wireless Controllers
Enterasys Networks has announced it is offering a lifetime warranty on its Enterasys (HiPath) Wireless Controllers. Enterasys is the first vendor in the industry to offer a lifetime warranty for controllers, augmenting its current comprehensive lifetime warranty offering for wireless access points as well as wired edge switches. Along with powerful automation capabilities and industry-leading integrated wired/wireless management capabilities, this enables customers to achieve the lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) for their wireless network.
With the addition of a lifetime warranty for wireless controllers, Enterasys delivers additional product value, providing customers with significant savings in capital and operational networking costs over the life of the network. According to Gartner, "The increased reliability of networking equipment is moving the industry to a new level of maturity. Lifetime warranty coverage should lower an organization's TCO... Enterprises must make warranty and maintenance services an integral part of the product and vendor evaluation, and, when required, ensure that they buy the right combination of add-on services to meet operational expectations."*
"By extending our industry-leading lifetime warranty coverage to wireless controllers, Enterasys is further demonstrating our commitment to helping customers build the most reliable and cost-effective wired and wireless networks in the industry," said Chris Crowell, President and CEO of Enterasys Networks. "We are proud to be the first in the industry to offer this level of support to our wireless customers."
Customers may also choose to augment the lifetime warranty by purchasing optional maintenance services to meet their business requirements. Enterasys' full range of award-winning services include online case management, 24x7 consultative phone support, extended coverage for premium licenses and field replaceable components, and accelerated advanced parts replacement options.
