Aeris Communications Chosen as Hyundai Motor America's Cellular Carrier for its Blue Link Telematics Program
Aeris Communications has announced that they will provide cellular connectivity to Hyundai Motor America's Blue Link telematics program launching in 2011.
Aeris Communications has worked closely with Hyundai to optimize Blue Link's performance. Leveraging Aeris' unique AerFrame platform for reaching and managing its vehicles in combination with their specialized cellular network infrastructure, Hyundai has built a market-leading telematics program that seamlessly incorporates safety and security, entertainment, productivity and convenience features. Aeris' AerFrame platform provides Hyundai access into a cellular infrastructure that is unmatched by other cellular carriers, allowing Hyundai to design and implement higher-performing features and functionality. Aeris enables Hyundai to use the entire coverage footprint of nearly all of the CDMA carriers in North America and to optimize that coverage for greater speed, reliability and an overall higher level of service.
