Trenton Joins NVIDIA Tesla Preferred Partner (TPP) Program

With acceptance into the NVIDIA TPP program Trenton is in position to create advanced computing solutions which incorporate NVIDIA Tesla 20-series GPU Computing products. Utilizing NVIDIA’s CUDA parallel computing architecture, such systems are targeted at high-performance computing (HPC) applications such as medical imaging, signals intelligence, cryptography, genomics, bioinformatics and seismic image analysis. In combination with a Trenton PICMG 1.3 system host board and PCIe Gen2 backplane, Tesla computing processors deliver supercomputing performance within a small footprint.
Advantages of working with Trenton to design a Tesla-based high-performance computing solution:
• Comprehensive system design ensures maximum performance with Tesla GPU computing processors
• Wide range of high-performance backplanes incorporating the latest PCI Express 2.0 technology
• BIOS modifications available to satisfy unique system configuration requirements
• System enclosure design capability to incorporate specific features and functionality
• All Trenton board level products are designed and manufactured in the United States
• Trenton’s manufacturing and integration facilities are ISO 9001:2008 Certified
• Seven year embedded product lifecycle support and industry leading customer service
• Five year warranty on Trenton system host boards, backplanes and embedded motherboards
“With the advent of GPU (graphics processing unit) computing technology, Trenton now designs customer-driven solutions that take advantage of products like NVIDIA’s Tesla computing processors”, said Michael Bowling, Trenton Director of Operations. “Intended for government, medical and imaging applications which require high-performance computing (HPC) solutions, the combination of Trenton backplanes, system host boards and enclosures with NVIDIA GPU technology is unique in the industry.”
“Trenton's design, engineering and integration capabilities are ideal for customers who require a high-performance computing solution based on industry-specific system requirements,” said Shanker Trivedi, vice president of sales, NVIDIA Professional Solutions Group. “These industry solutions are ideal platforms for implementing NVIDIA’s Tesla computing processors and CUDA GPU architecture.”
