Juniper Networks has announced that SkyVision Global Networks LLC has upgraded & expanded its backbone, edge, and peering infrastructure using Juniper Networks M10i Multiservice Edge Routers and EX4200 Ethernet Switches. SkyVision operates a satellite and terrestrial fiber-optic network providing connectivity in more than 50 countries, which required a high-performance, carrier-class networking solution to meet continued demand and help support the rapid growth achieved over the last five years.

"Via our gateways in Europe, North America and the Middle East, we provide IP connectivity with access to the global Internet, as well as a worldwide extensive suite of customized end-to-end solutions and services such as Layer 2 VPLS and layer 3 VPN with complementary security services," said Adi Katz, vice president, engineering, SkyVision.
