Xirrus has announced the deployment of Xirrus high performance Wi-Fi Arrays at the Miami Ad School, including campuses is Miami Beach, San Francisco, and their recently opened New York City campus. For the past four years the Gunn Report has named the Miami Ad School the best advertising school in the world, based on the quality of the awards received by their graduate students. This digital media school invests in Xirrus Wi-Fi Arrays because it is the only device capable of supporting high bandwidth applications while enhancing student abilities to seamlessly connect wirelessly throughout the campuses.

“We’re a digital media school, so the students do a lot of research on various websites and we needed a high performance wireless solution capable of handling our density and bandwidth requirements,” said IT Director for Miami Ad School, Douglas Payne. “With our previous Wi-Fi solution, it was difficult to get coverage and students were always complaining about dropped connections. Finding a solution that would solve our wireless problems was a major priority. Once we tested the Xirrus product at our Miami Beach campus, we were sold on the technology. Xirrus improved our wireless network so much that we decided to purchase Arrays for our other campuses. Xirrus has really increased the efficiency of our learning environment and has given the students the ability to connect freely to the outside world using their wireless devices.”
