Now available from Mouser stock, Tyco Electronics’ LCEDI connectors are the next generation of connectors designed to provide exceptional electrical performance in both low-voltage differential signalling ( LVD ) and embedded DisplayPort ( eDP ) applications. The LCEDI ( LCD Coaxial Embedded Display Interface ) connectors feature new technology that provides an interconnection between notebook LCD panels and main processor boards using micro coax cable at speeds of 2.7Gbps (or discrete wire AWG 32 teflon or smaller), says the company.
