Highwinds Establishes PoP in Phoenix NAP Data Center

Phoenix NAP has announced that Highwinds, a leader in content delivery, network, and IP services, has established a point-of-presence within the Phoenix NAP facility.

“As a datacenter operator, it is critical that we are able to provide an array of connectivity solutions to meet client needs. The addition of a Highwinds PoP to our meet-me room is significant as it enables any Phoenix NAP customer to choose the quality transit/transport solutions Highwinds offers,” said Ian McClarty, president of Phoenix NAP.

Highwinds will make its IP Transit and Transport solutions available out of Phoenix NAP, enabling businesses in various industries, including media and entertainment, software and gaming, to move content across its RollingThunder network. The high-performance network consists of more than 70 PoPs in North America, Europe and South America and is the backbone by which Highwinds offers its suite of solutions, including CDN, IP Transit, Transport, Peering, Colocation, Content Storage and IP Software.

As a network access point, Phoenix NAP strives to offer its customers a vast array of network connectivity solutions. Clients of the datacenter can select whichever option(s) best meets their needs, and can work directly with a provider, such as Highwinds, or with Phoenix NAP’s carrier neutral sales staff to get service.
