CAPS opens new subsidiary in the valley

Exhibitor this whole week at SC10 with brand new demonstrations of its manycore programming tools, CAPS takes this opportunity to announce its expansion into Americas with the opening of new offices in Santa Clara, USA.

After the opening of the Shanghai office last April, CAPS pursues its global development with the creation of an American subsidiary. This new entity located in the heart of Silicon Valley comes at a key moment of the development of the company, while it has already made nearly a quarter of its turnover in the United States (the second business area in terms of Sales).

Founded in April 2002, CAPS has been developing for more than 7 years manycore programming tools. CAPS is now a leading global provider of compiler technologies and engineering services for parallel hybrid computing.

Reinforcing its presence in the American territory represents a major challenge for CAPS, considering that this area gathers half of the HPC market. Bolstered by the good feedback of its customers and partners about its products and services offer, this decision comes at a crucial time for CAPS. “It’s a strong message that we want to send to our customers and to our partners”, declares Denis Gerrer, Manager of the US subsidiary. “Settling in the Silicon Valley shows to all our business and technology partners that we want to create a strong synergy with them.”

This new local presence in the United States will enable CAPS to provide customers with local market expertise and to strengthen ties with its reseller network throughout the American market.

The closeness to main global IT companies headquarters is an advantage for CAPS development. Present on three continents, the company has now the ability to coordinate the actions led with its global partners on the EMEA, APAC and America areas.
