Milpitas, Calif., – Appro International introduced the new 4-way, 5U rack/tower server series powered by the Intel® Xeon™ processor MP. The Appro 5410X server is Appro’s first 4-way Intel® Xeon™ processor MP-based server. The server is designed for extreme memory and CPU intensive applications; an ideal system for on-line transaction processing (OLTP), database applications, and other compute-intensive applications. The server delivers enhanced speed, memory, flexibility and expansion capabilities, promoting superior performance. The Appro 5410X server offers faster clock speed and greater L3 cache (2MB). It has a unique chassis that serves the needs of either a pedestal or rack-mount enclosure, measuring 8-5/8” W x 16-1/2” H x 22” D.
