LG-Ericsson has announced the availability of its iPECS ES Series of high-performance, feature-rich Ethernet switches designed for demanding SMB and enterprise network environments.  The iPECS ES series includes unmanaged (ES-1000 series), advanced smart (ES-2000/2000G series) and fully managed (ES-3000/3000G) Ethernet switches.

LG-Ericsson's iPECS ES Series switches are designed to deliver performance, reliability and ease-of-use to provide scalable network infrastructures that support demanding data and voice applications.  The easy-to-install iPECS ES series incorporate Plug-and-Play capabilities and are managed using an intuitive Web interface.  Advanced Quality of Service (QoS) ensures optimal support of mission critical applications such as voice and video communications.  To enhance network security, features such as RADIUS authentication and multi-layer filtering are built into the robust feature set.

The eco-friendly iPECS ES series switches incorporate the latest in green Ethernet technology to help users save on energy costs.  The ability to detect link status and power down unused or inactive ports, and adjust signal strength based upon cable length, enable the ES-series switches to deliver among the lowest power consumption in its class.
