Antec has announced that the High Current Pro HCP-1200 -- Antec's newest high-performance 1200-watt power supply -- is available for pre-order through Newegg.com. The HCP-1200 is part of Antec's High Current Pro series of power supplies designed to offer professional-level power for high-end gaming, design and mission-critical server applications.

The HCP-1200 is Antec's first 80 PLUS Gold certified 1200-watt power supply and delivers its rated Continuous Power with up to 92% efficiency at 20%, 50% and 100% loads, even at up to 50°C. The HCP-1200 also features 100% Japanese-brand capacitors, built upon heavy-duty dual PCB construction to provide the utmost reliability with superior airflow and heat dissipation.
