The Oracle Education Foundation Partners with the Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science

The Oracle Education Foundation (OEF) has partnered with The Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science in Tallahassee, Florida to launch an innovative online learning initiative for students and teachers. The Brogan Museum is a Smithsonian Institution Affiliate dedicated to the visual arts, science exploration, and humanities education.

The initiative will leverage ThinkQuest, OEF’s online learning platform. ThinkQuest helps students develop important 21st century skills, including critical thinking, communication, and technology skills.

The Brogan Museum will use ThinkQuest to create three online projects focused on museum exhibits. These projects are expected to engage up to 2,500 students, including students from rural, economically underserved areas of Florida.

In addition, OEF and The Brogan Museum will work together to train 1,000 teachers on how to integrate ThinkQuest and project learning into their curricula.

ThinkQuest currently supports 548,000 students and teachers in 47 countries.
