SANYO HD Cameras, Now Intransa Select Certified
Intransa and SANYO have announced that SANYO’s HD security cameras are now Intransa VideoAppliance SELECT Certified.
"Certifying SANYO’s high-definition cameras with Intransa’s VideoAppliance provides our mutual customers with confidence in the compatibility between SANYO’s high-definition cameras and Intransa’s high-performance storage appliances,” said Robert Gailing, SANYO national sales manager, Security Division. “With this certification we are not only bringing peace of mind during installation but we are providing all the benefits best-in-breed cameras and storage can provide to customers.”
SANYO’s high definition (HD) network cameras provide up to 4 million pixels, which delivers incredibly sharp, crystal clear images. A number of models feature a built-in optical zoom lens that makes SANYO’s camera an ideal solution for banking and retail environments or where there is a requirement for close-up detail of any activity.
“We are pleased that SANYO has joined the SELECT VideoAppliance certification program,” said George Vaiser, vice president, video system applications, Intransa. “Our goal at the Intransa Technology Lab is to provide risk-free maximum performance open IP solutions that meet and exceed our customers; needs and expectations.”
Widely deployed by customers in physical security, industrial video, and related markets since its introduction in mid-2009, Intransa’s VideoAppliance was recently recognized as the Best in Video Storage and Distribution by the Security Industry Association at ISC West 2010, which is the latest in a string of similar awards.
Each Intransa installer-ready appliance shrinks the complexity and cost of integrating commodity servers, storage and other hardware for demanding physical security needs. While eliminating two, three, four or more commodity server and storage systems with a single, physical security optimized device, Intransa’s VideoAppliance includes integration with the customer’s choice of software, including Sanyo cameras.
Intransa executives will be on hand in booth 3497, October 12-14, 2010 at ASIS International in Dallas and in booth 827, October 20-21, 2010 at Security Canada Central in Toronto.
