Cycle Computing Examines Cloud Computing for Life Sciences

Cycle Computing has announced that David Powers, senior analyst, business development, will present a short course on cloud computing for life sciences at the Bio-IT World Conference & Expo Europe in Hannover, Germany.

The workshop will examine how cloud computing can effectively function as both an external IT service and internal computing model. Instructors will discuss real world use cases across drug discovery and design, collaboration, next generation sequencing, proteomics, SaaS and bioinformatics, exploring how life science researchers are using cloud computing.

David Powers will be joined by fellow presenters Richard Holland, director, operations and delivery, Eagle Genomics and Glenn Proctor, ensemble software coordinator, EMBL EBI.
