Verizon Business Helps Deutsch Tighten Ties With Customers Worldwide
When Deutsch Company needed a secure, high-performance global networking solution to power and transport essential business applications for some of the world's largest aerospace manufacturers, Verizon Business had the answer.
Under a new three-year agreement, Verizon will provide the New York-based multinational electronics company with a managed virtual private networking solution for linking its 13 locations and 3,500 employees around the globe. This modern Managed Private IP network will enable Deutsch to seamlessly provide its demanding global customer base with critical applications such as SAP, video conferencing, voice-over-IP and CAD, while driving more efficient communication and collaboration within the company.
"We turned to Verizon Business because of its reliable, secure network and expertise managing the transmission of complex and bandwidth-intensive applications," said Sylvio Duguay, chief information officer for Deutsch Company. "With locations in China, Europe, India, Mexico and the U.S., we are relying on Verizon to help us eliminate borders and streamline IT operations, with tools such as video conferencing and the network capacity to share engineering plans. Most importantly, our customers will benefit from the service improvements and capabilities enabled by this advanced network."
A Verizon Managed Private IP network provides the essential platform for meeting Deutsch Company's communications and IT applications needs. Verizon Managed Private IP features six classes of service, enabling the prioritization of applications -- such as video and voice, which require lower latency than e-mail -- that are critical for business to run smoothly on today's heavily trafficked networks.
Verizon Business delivers a comprehensive portfolio of managed services, managing 300,000-plus security, network and hosting devices across more than 4,200 customer networks spanning 142 countries and territories, all backed by industry-leading service-level agreements. The company's global infrastructure, one of the most connected IP networks in the world, provides a solid foundation from which to serve multinational corporations and government agencies.
