Massively Parallel Technologies Unveils "Blue Cheetah" Software Model

Massively Parallel Technologies has unveiled industry's first application ecosystem software for modern cloud computing environments. In the emerging "app-centric" world of the internet, the Blue Cheetah application ecosystem is suitable for a wide variety of industries such as massive multi-player gaming, cloud computing, business analytics, or numerically intensive applications. It is comprised of multiple interlocking software products, the first of which, "Blue Cheetah - Cub," was released today in beta form.

"The Blue Cheetah application ecosystem is first to provide a single environment for both creation and monetization of highly optimized modular applications," said Bobbi Hazard, CEO of MPT. "Cloud computing and multi-core processors provide an immense potential for high performance and operational efficiency, but they create new problems for application development and commerce. MPT solves these problems with a new holistic solution that goes well beyond existing products."

With a growing patent portfolio, currently standing at 400+ claims (issued and pending), MPT draws from a rich technological foundation to significantly improve developer productivity and enhance user experience. A host of challenges such as organization of developer communities, application creation, optimization, parallelization, digital rights management, monetization, and revenue sharing are solved by the Blue Cheetah application ecosystem.

"Compilers, libraries, and app stores are not enough for today's developers," said Kevin Howard, CTO and co-founder of MPT. "A complete environment is a must. The Blue Cheetah application ecosystem is that environment."
