Hinditron partners with Bright Computing to Deliver World-class HPC Solutions in India

Hinditron is now delivering compute-ready HPC and GPGPU cluster solutions pre-installed with Bright Cluster Manager Hinditron and Bright Computing have announced their partnership to serve the high performance computing market in India. Hinditron will offer Bright Cluster Manager as an integral part of their clusters as well as market the product to the vast installed base of HPC systems throughout India. Hinditron’s HPC customers span a wide range of industries across India, including Government R&D Labs, Life Sciences, Engineering, Defense, Aerospace, Academic Institutes and others. Hinditron has a strong history of successful relationships with computing technology leaders. Currently, Hinditron has partnerships with Supermicro, NVIDIA, Altair Engineering, and now Bright Computing, to provide the full range of HPC servers, GPU systems and technical services. Venkat Ramana, Vice President, Hinditron said “Over the last four decades, Hinditron has established a reputation of forming business and technical support alliances with global leaders in their respective areas of specialization. Consistent with this philosophy and stated vision, Hinditron is immensely pleased to form a similar alliance with Bright Computing, a technology leader in cluster management software with highly differentiated and innovative product offerings.” The relationship with Bright Computing brings a powerful cluster management solution into Hinditron’s portfolio, with capabilities spanning deployment, testing, provisioning, monitoring and management of systems with or without GPU accelerators. Bright Cluster Manager also complements Hinditron’s choice of workload management software, as it provides seamless integration with Altair Engineering’s PBS Professional. For example, Bright automatically installs and configures PBS Professional; provides sampling, analysis and visualization of the workload manager’s statistics within the intuitive Bright GUI; includes PBS Professional in its preventative health-checking; and provides automatic failover as necessary. “Perhaps as important as its capabilities, Bright Cluster Manager removes the complexity from managing HPC clusters,” added Mohan Arunshankar, Business Development Manager at Hinditron. “The user interface provides a comprehensive view of the cluster, and the ability to drill down to the smallest detail, yet it is extremely intuitive: no knowledge of Linux is required to manage multiple HPC clusters at once from a single PC.” “Hinditron is an impressive and important force in the Indian HPC market,” said Dr. Matthijs van Leeuwen, founder and CEO of Bright Computing. “I am delighted to be working with their HPC team to deliver the best possible value to their customers.”
