Polycom Appoints Tracey Newell as EVP of Global Sales, Extending Polycom's Industry-Best Executive Leadership Team
Polycom announced the
appointment of industry veteran Tracey Newell to the position of executive vice
president of Global Sales to lead Polycom's global sales operations and
execution, and accelerate the company's growth in the UC market.
Newell brings a proven
track record in sales leadership to Polycom, with more than 20 years at leading
companies including Juniper Networks and Cisco Systems. Throughout her career,
Newell has focused on networking, software, and cloud services, all areas of
strategic importance to Polycom, and she brings diverse experience leading
teams across enterprise, commercial, vertical, public sector, and SMB markets.
Most recently, Newell was
SVP of Worldwide General Business Sales at Juniper Networks, responsible for
increasing reach and share in the enterprise and mid-market. Juniper is a
Polycom Open Collaboration Network partner, and Newell's move to Polycom will further
strengthen the companies' strategic alliance. Prior to Juniper, Newell held
several sales leadership positions at Cisco, including running worldwide sales
for WebEx.
