Series of senior appointments made to expand international presence: CommVault, a leading provider of data management software applications, has today announced that Steven Rose, Fiona Moon and Vince Blackall have joined the organisation to lead the company’s growth across EMEA. Rose assumes the role of EMEA Vice President, Moon takes responsibility for EMEA Marketing and Blackall leads a new channel growth and development initiative. With over 70 years combined experience of working in the technology industry, the new management team is already executing a number of programmes to accelerate CommVault’s growth. “We believe that recent industry consolidation has caused vendors to lose sight of one of the most important elements of their business; which is delivering a solution that customers need,” commented Rose. “CommVault is a recognised worldwide player in the data management space and the company will continue to specialise in this area. Steven has worked in the technology industry for 23 years, where his experience has spanned positions including European General Manager of Neon and CEO of CopperEye. Before joining CommVault, Rose was United Kingdom Managing Director for Veritas Software where he was responsible for managing the UK Operation. About Fiona Moon: Marketing Director for CommVault, EMEA. Previously responsible for analyst relations at Symantec, Fiona joins the CommVault team with 17 years experience in the IT sector, where she has held senior EMEA marketing positions with a number of organisations including SSA, Manugistics and Marcam Solutions. About Vince Blackall: Managing Director – Channels for CommVault, EMEA. Vince has been in the technology industry for 33 years. Starting as a mainframe operator, he progressed through system programming, analysis, training and customer support to sales – which includes experience in direct sales management, channel sales management and global account sales. Before joining CommVault, he held positions with Banyan Systems EMEA, Cheyenne Software, CA, Inc. (formerly Computer Associates International, Inc.) and Veritas Software.
