transtec at the CeBIT: Consulting on Servers, Storage and Clustering

Visitors to the CeBIT computer trade fair can expect to find the latest hardware solutions and custom-tailored advice at the transtec’s stand. The fair will run from 18-24 March in Hanover, Germany. There the IT system manufacturer will demonstrate the latest trends and most up-to-date products for server, storage and clustering sectors. transtec experts, including management, will be available to provide customers with all their know-how and offer individual consulting for visitors. At the world’s largest computer trade fair, transtec will also report on its successful cluster installations for key customers such as Boehringer Ingelheim and the University of Nuremberg/Erlangen. A special highlight of transtec’s trade fair exhibit will be a presentation of a virtual reality application that runs on special transtec hardware. The simulator is an essential part of the Albert Einstein exhibition that is currently running in Ulm, Germany. Visitors can take a 3-D bike tour of the picturesque inner city of Tuebingen and seemingly reach the velocity of light by pedalling harder. The virtual bike tour will be presented in cooperation with the University of Tuebingen, the Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics and the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics. transtec’s trade fair stand at the CeBIT will be in hall 2, number C54.
