VERITAS to Support New Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2003

CHICAGO, STORAGE DECISIONS -- VERITAS Software Corporation (NASDAQ:VRTS) , the leading storage software provider, today announced the availability of VERITAS(TM) Storage Replicator for Windows Storage Server 2003 and unveiled a product roadmap supporting the new Windows Storage Server 2003 across its product lines focused on delivering availability, performance and automation, the fundamental building blocks for enabling utility computing. In addition, VERITAS announced that its program in support of early adopters of Windows Server 2003 (announced in April 2003) has already seen more than 100 customers sign up to evaluate VERITAS products for deployment in Windows Server 2003 environments. VERITAS Storage Replicator -- a component of the company's utility computing model -- enables customers to replicate Windows-based data from remote sites to a central location and helps organizations save money by eliminating the need to invest in remote hardware. VERITAS Storage Replicator also allows data to be online and continuously available without disrupting normal server operations. A utility computing model helps IT departments deliver measurable and available IT services aligned with the changing business demands of Windows environments.
