The high-performance D178 and SANtricity are the first in a series of disk-based storage systems and management software offered by the companies through a new distribution relationship announced today. In addition to the D178, StorageTek and LSI Logic Storage Systems have enhanced the software functionality available for StorageTek's D-series disk products. SANtricity Storage Manager 8.0, formerly known as Object Manager, is the latest version of software that provides centralized storage management.
