WALTHAM, MA -- StorageNetworks, Inc. (NASDAQ: STOR), a leading provider of data storage management software and services, today announced that William T. Schleyer, recently appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of AT&T Broadband, has resigned from StorageNetworks' board of directors. Mr. Schleyer has resigned or will be resigning from all outside directorships to concentrate all of his efforts on his new responsibilities as President and CEO of AT&T Broadband. "We greatly appreciate the contributions Bill has made during his tenure on our board," stated Peter W. Bell, Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President of StorageNetworks. "We certainly understand, however, that his current priorities are with AT&T Broadband and we wish him great success in his new position."
