The new alliance will provide end-users with a single source for best-of-breed storage solutions including LSI Logic Storage Systems' MetaStor(R) E-Series family of storage systems and the ContinuStor(TM) Director, plus a single point of contact for support. Vendors selected for the StorNet Supported Product Program must have the endorsement of StorNet's Technical Service Center, be an integral part of StorNet's overall storage solution strategy, and maintain a support center to which StorNet can confidently escalate support issues when needed. The ContinuStor Director is an independent device that replicates data across heterogeneous storage systems, both local and remote, up to ten times faster than software.
