As part of a worldwide branding effort by Fujitsu Limited to extend its global brand and market leadership in IT services and solutions, Amdahl Canada Limited is being renamed Fujitsu Technology Solutions Canada, Inc. The new company will build upon its heritage as a leader in solving the mission-critical computing needs of Canadian businesses for over 25 years. The introduction of the PRIMEPOWER line, Fujitsu's Solaris(TM) compatible, SPARC(R) based servers, to Canada reflects the product line's growing global market success. The PRIMEPOWER line is the most scalable, highly available, and reliable family of commercial UNIX(R) servers available today, offering the only 128-way commercial UNIX server in the industry. The systems significantly expand customers' ability to support 24 x 7 global e-business challenges and to consolidate application workloads onto fewer servers, reducing IT costs.
