RAID Inc. Accepted to HPC Advisory Council

RAID Incorporated, a customized storage, services, and HPC solutions provider specializing in leading-edge technologies, today announced their acceptance as a member of the HPC Advisory Council (http://www.hpcadvisorycouncil.com), extending their reach as a resource in the Supercomputing community.

Founded by Mellanox Technologies, the Council's mission is to provide expertise and other resources that facilitate broader usage of HPC systems in government, education, industry, and research disciplines. Council members collectively bring together hundreds of years of expertise to help users improve efficiencies for better research, education, innovation and product manufacturing; to provide application designers with the tools needed to enable parallel computing; to strengthen the qualification and integration of HPC system products; to allow companies to develop better products and services and be more competitive; and to support comprehensive and complete education foundations by providing information and equipment to allow students to learn about HPC.

RAID has been increasingly focused on the HPC market over the past several years, as evidenced recently by the development of their performance-intensive X2-IB storage system and fully customizable Fusion gateway solution. The company also provides itself on a true open technology model, providing custom storage solutions that operate seamlessly with nearly all file systems, operating systems, interconnects, and clusters.

"We are proud to announce this important step in our advancement as a trusted advisor of end-to-end Supercomputing technologies," stated Marc DiZoglio, EVP of HPC Technologies at RAID Inc. "We look forward to being a significant contributor to the Council, leveraging our experience in areas such as storage, servers, infrastructure, and file systems."
