Third Wave Systems makes Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal Fast 50

Private Company Recognition is Second Consecutive Award for Third Wave: Third Wave Systems, international machining-modeling software and services provider for aerospace, automotive, cutting tool, and optics companies, was once again recognized by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the Twin Cities metro area. The Fast 50 award list was formally announced on October 23, 2008, and published in the October 24, 2008 issue of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. Third Wave Systems' 79.72% revenue growth over the last three years elevated the company to number 34 on the list; in 2007, Third Wave Systems broke onto the Fast 50 list with a #49 ranking. "This award is a phenomenal tribute to our company's mission to serving the machining industry leaders, helping them get to market faster and more affordably," said Kerry Marusich, Third Wave Systems Founder and CEO. "2008 has been a great year for Third Wave, and to make the Fast 50 list again is a testament to our employees' dedication and ongoing pursuit of innovative technology." Companies who qualify for the Fast 50 are independently owned and privately held, headquartered in the Twin Cities metro area, experience year-over-year revenue growth for each of the past three fiscal years, and, three years earlier, netted revenue of at least $1 million. This is Third Wave Systems' second placement on the Fast 50 list.
