Chelsio Communications today announced it has added two key executives to its sales team to meet the rapidly growing demand for Chelsio's Unified Wire 10Gb Ethernet adapter cards worldwide.

Randy Skelley has been named Chelsio's Vice President of Sales, and Sean Conlon is now the Vice President of Sales for the Asia Pacific region. Both report to Kianoosh Naghshineh, president and CEO.

"We are seeing explosive growth for our Unified Wire adapters both in the United States and in the APAC region," said Naghshineh. "Randy and Sean are key members of the Chelsio team driving the worldwide acceptance of our 10Gb Ethernet solutions."

Skelley has more than 20 years of sales and management experience in storage and networking industries. Prior to Chelsio, Randy was VP of business development for ClearPath Networks and he has held various global and regional OEM and channel sales leadership positions with companies such as Quantum Corporation, ATTO Technology and GN Netcom.

Conlon has more than 20 years experience in high performance networking, with a strong track record of developing new business in Asia Pacific and Japan. Prior to joining Chelsio, Sean held key positions in Broadcom's Enterprise Networking and Enterprise Computing Groups, including General Manager of the Chipset and Storage Infrastructure business. Prior to Broadcom, he was the Asia Pacific marketing director for Intel's Communications Group, and he held other key marketing and technical roles at Intel Corporation.
