SYS Technologies, a leading provider of real time information technology solutions to industrial and U.S. government customers, has acquired the ForceViz visualization package from Lomasoft Corporation. In addition, James R. Gambale, co-founder of Lomasoft has joined the Net-Centric software division of SYS. ForceViz is a suite of software products that greatly enhances the visualization of terrain and image data in geospatial applications. ForceViz integrates meteorological, oceanographic, and a wide array of geographic data in a single environment. This technology enables existing geospatial applications to take maximum advantage of the high performance computing resources found in the current generation of graphic processing units provided by graphics hardware vendors. Cliff Cooke, Chief Executive Officer of SYS said, "ForceViz will enable existing SYS programs and its customers to benefit from the wide availability of new high performance hardware.
