Battlefield System Contract Awarded to HPTi by U.S. Army

Reston VA, High Performance Technologies, Inc. (HPTi) won a $225,706 contract from the U.S. Army's Project Manager for Future Combat System (FCS). This award expands HPTi's work in program management and requirements engineering for advanced military systems. The win is one of three major wins for HPTi in the government sector, in the last five months. The FCS project addresses military needs in a conflict-laden global environment by simulating and anticipating the logistics involved in deploying U.S. forces to international locales within a period of days. The ability to manage the tools used in 21st century conflicts requires advanced and innovative technologies. HPTi is among the leading providers of this essential technology. HPTi's responsibilities include: supporting the on-going development of the battlefield computer system; conducting and/or participating in trade studies; developing and implementing schedules; coordinating product interfaces and commonality; tracking product/system requirements; and performing other FCS-related program management & and system engineering tasks. HPTi's contract falls under the lethality platform of FCS, representing all major FCS stakeholders by coordinating lethality responsibilities and products across all FCS platforms. Lethality is one of many categories that fall under the scope of FCS, which also includes: survivability, propulsion, mobility, robotics, and other technologies. HPTi provides supercomputing technology to many military and government projects including ones for DHS, DOJ, FBI, NSA, DoD, DOE, Treasury, NIH, and National Labs, among others. HPTi has recently been awarded a contract by the FBI for help in the war on terror and another contract with the Department of Veteran Affairs.
