A cost-effective alternative to expensive software packages, jb Driver's script and command-line user interface allows fast, easy integration into existing backup applications -- and enables automated software control of Linux-supported online, near-line and archival storage applications. It is a straightforward, highly flexible storage-management tool that allows users to easily integrate tape and optical libraries using their existing backup software. jb Driver is certified to operate with libraries and jukeboxes offered by all major manufacturers, such as STK, Quantum ATL, Qualstar, Overland, HDS, SONY and Plasmon. It also provides barcode support for off-line media tracking, a popular feature on newer jukeboxes and libraries.
