Sun Announces New Visualization, Simulation Solutions & Partners

LOS ANGELES, CA -- Sun Microsystems, Inc. (Nasdaq: SUNW) uses the Siggraph Conference as its stage to showcase new technology demos and tout new and ongoing relationships with industry leaders in the visualization, simulation and digital media markets. With Sun's comprehensive range of workstations, servers and graphics products the company is showcasing demos for its server-based graphics and new 24" flat-panel LCD monitor, as well as products announced during the past year, including the UltraSPARC(TM) III-based Sun(TM) Blade 1000 workstation, the sub-$1,000 Sun Blade 100 workstation, and the sub-$1,000 Sun(TM) Expert3D-Lite graphics card.
