FiberLight Turns Up Client Network in a Day

FiberLight turned around a customized optical transport solution in record time for Sago Networks, a Tampa-based Internet solutions company. In just 24-hours, FiberLight deployed a 10 Gig DWDM network connecting Sago Networks to two Miami data centers, Terremark’s NAP of the Americas and Peak 10.

“I couldn’t find anyone else that could even come close to FiberLight’s delivery time,” said Miller Cooper, CEO and Founder of Sago Networks. “Our customers look for dependable service, and we expect the same from our providers. We know FiberLight will deliver what they promise.”

FiberLight’s 300-mile, multi-ringed South Florida network offers low latency and secure and redundant connectivity to the majority of South Florida’s data centers, enabling Sago Networks to offer rapid service to its military and medical clients.

“Our military customers fight the wars depending on ultimate network reliability, and our hospital radiology specialists need to be able to transfer information rapidly back and forth between facilities. FiberLight has the network capability to provide a low latency, secure solution that meets client needs for transport,” Mr. Cooper said. “By choosing FiberLight as the network provider, we know we don’t have to worry about network breakdowns because they offer network redundancy with a track record of consistent performance year in and year out.”

“FiberLight is pleased with the opportunity to continue building a strong relationship with Sago Networks, considered one of the top Internet solution providers in the Southeastern United States,” said Ben Edmond, FiberLight’s EVP of Sales and Marketing. “One of our key differentiators is our speed to market capability, which enables us to meet challenging timelines that other providers would consider impossible. Because we own our network and are connected to many of Florida’s data centers and carrier hotels, we can offer rapid, customized solutions with enough built-in flexibility to grow with demand.”

FiberLight continues to extend its 300-mile network presence in Florida with the addition of a new diverse optical network linking Miami to Kendall, Florida. The Kendall extension represents a 32-mile expansion of FiberLight’s high fiber count Florida network.
