Verari introduces quad-socket, quad-core visualization solution

Industry's first high-end visualization and interpretation solution allows customers to visualize and manipulate large regional data sets with unmatched power and resolution: Verari Systems today announced the RM4510 server, a new high-performance visualization and interpretation solution. The new solution is the ideal enterprise computing solution for industries whose applications require extremely large memory models. “The Verari Systems RM4510 visualization server delivers outstanding performance, dependability and value to help our customers visualize and manipulate large data sets with unmatched power and resolution,” said Dan Gatti, senior vice president of marketing, Verari Systems. “We are excited to bring to market the first, most scalable, industry-standards-based visualization solution engineered for complex, highly technical computing and high-performance parallel applications.” Support for the latest video cards running in SLI configurations allows the RM4510 to excel in graphics-intensive applications such as seismic data processing and imaging, digital content creation and rendering, electronic design automation and high-end visualization simulations while offering up to four times the memory and compute power of standard desktop seismic interpretation systems. The RM4510 supports the latest NVIDIA Quadro graphics cards and Quadro Plex visual computing systems (VCS) which allow the system to scale graphics computing to meet the most demanding professional CAD, DCC and visualization application requirements. Multiple NVIDIA Quadro Plex VCSs can be combined to scale performance, quality and display channels for a complete visualization solution. The RM4510 server supports up to four AMD Opteron Quad-Core processors and 256GB of ECC registered memory. Its revolutionary design uses the AMD64 Direct Connect Architecture to its full potential, providing new possibilities in customization and unparalleled bandwidth access while supporting advanced chipset features like AMD-V and enhanced AMD PowerNow! technology to decrease overall system power consumption without compromising performance. The RM4510 is available now in both a rackmount or pedestal configuration and supports a wide variety of options, including up to 5TB of internal RAID storage and external Fibre SAN Connectivity.
