McAfee Strengthens Partnership With Crossbeam Through Resale Agreement To Secure High Assurance and High Performance Networks

McAfee and Crossbeam Systems announced that McAfee will resell Crossbeam's X-Series platforms on the McAfee Firewall Enterprise solution for comprehensive and scalable network security. This combined solution helps meet the increasingly critical need to consolidate data centers and secure networks across the largest enterprises, government and telecommunication companies.
By providing large networks with a single source for product and support, McAfee and Crossbeam are presenting an unprecedented level of security by seamlessly delivering multiple layered security services while cost effectively addressing next-generation data center transformation and consolidation initiatives.
"Crossbeam's next-generation X-Series platform strengthens McAfee's existing security tools by providing the world's most comprehensive firewall protection to large, high assurance networks," said Greg Brown, vice president of network security at McAfee. "This agreement gives McAfee an expanded portfolio of network security at the high end of the market, delivering superior security, performance, and availability to our customers."

Utilizing Crossbeam's unique self-healing platform, the McAfee Firewall Enterprise enables the consolidation and security of data centers. Additionally, existing customers will now be able to scale their McAfee security solution to include high assurance firewall protection without impacting the performance of their networks.
