Industry and federal government leaders collaborate to defeat cybersecurity threats
Red Lambda has been selected as a SINET 16 Innovator. Red Lambda will present its MetaGrid Big Data Security & Analytics Suite solution during the 2012 SINET Showcase to be held October 25th at the National Press Club in Washington D.C., supported by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Science & Technology Directorate. The Security Innovation Network (SINET) initiatives are designed to advance innovation and enable collaboration between the public and private sectors to defeat global cybersecurity threats.
Eighty emerging technology companies applied and were carefully vetted in a two-stage process by the SINET Showcase Steering Committee for the opportunity to present innovative and potentially disruptive cybersecurity solutions to an audience of representatives from defense, homeland security, intelligence and civilian federal agencies as well commercial, investment and research communities. Red Lambda, one of sixteen companies to present on stage, will be showcasing its MetaGrid solution. MetaGrid is a clean-slate approach to security and operational intelligence. Built with unique big data technologies, MetaGrid eliminates the complexities of big data by unifying the acquisition, correlation, analysis and response processes to handle and shore up diverse security systems through one unified, seamlessly integrated platform.
“Every year the quality of companies applying to present as a SINET 16 Innovator continues to raise the bar. Since 2010 we have received hundreds of applications from outstanding companies who are driven to advance innovation, lead change and create strong bonds of collaboration between the public and private sectors, all in an effort to defeat cybersecurity threats. We are confident that by raising the awareness of Red Lambda and other finalists’ capabilities, there will be an enhanced opportunity to impact the most pressing technology needs of the Federal Government and private industry – and, ultimately, the protection of our nation’s Critical Infrastructure and Command and Control systems. In this light, I am excited to announce the class of 2012 SINET 16 Innovators,” said Robert Rodriguez, Chairman and Managing Principal of SINET.
“We are honored to be selected by SINET to present our technology to such a prestigious ensemble of industry experts,” said Bahram Yusefzadeh, Chairman and CEO of Red Lambda. “We have important, bold technology that we believe can turn the tables on cyber criminals and significantly enhance our ability to fight advanced and sophisticated attacks. Being named a SINET 16 Innovator validates the strength of our offering and provides Red Lambda with a powerful platform to demonstrate our technology’s unique capabilities.”
