Joint customers gain new data management capabilities through Paradigm and NetApp collaboration

Paradigm (www.pdgm.com) has joined the NetApp Alliance Partner Program, as part of its collaboration with NetApp to offer optimized data storage and management solutions. With this alliance, joint customers will benefit from application-specific data protection, the ability to deploy solutions with improved infrastructure performance, and enhanced data access for more effective decision making.

Managers, geoscientists, data managers, and IT professionals face numerous challenges when dealing with increasingly large and complex data sets, multiple application vendors, and heterogeneous computing environments. The Paradigm 2011 release provides a platform for integrating application data and gives oil and gas companies more choices when creating their data management solution. The release includes new technologies that enable more efficient access to third-party vendors' data, and more heterogeneous cross platform data access.
