- Written by: Writer
The mission of the Pacific Technology Division is to provide advanced technology solutions for government and commercial clients in the Pacific region, primarily operating in the state of Hawaii. Current clients include the University of Hawaii at the Maui High Performance Computing Center, the Pacific Missile Range Facility, the Office of Naval Research, the Air Force Research Laboratory, and Hawaiian-owned companies such as Akimeka. The employee-owners working at this site will include the division manager, Stephen A. Karwoski, program managers, administrators, engineers and computer scientists. "The Maui and Kauai locations, with their proximity to PACOM, the Maui High Performance Computing Center, and the Pacific Missile Range Facility, are excellent locations for our organization to grow in the Pacific region," said Clayton Stewart, SAIC corporate vice president and manager for the RSO. "We look forward to establishing high-tech operations in Hawaii, and participating in regional economic development opportunities from this very important new division."
