Alcatel Partners with Lettel for the Brazilian Market

Alcatel announced that it is extending its distribution network by partnering with Lettel, a telecommunications and information technology (IT) solution distributor and integrator from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. This reseller agreement focuses on Alcatel enterprise solutions in Brazil, strengthening its indirect channels in the Southern and Northeastern regions. The expansion of Alcatel's enterprise portfolio allows Brazilian distributors and integrators to offer enterprise solutions to its customers with voice and data integration. The growing demand from companies of all sizes and segments for convergence strengthens the need of investments focused on partnership extending. The presence of a distributor like Lettel with a focus in the Southern and Northeastern regions is part of Alcatel's strategy for expansion in the enterprise market. "Currently, we are expanding our coverage for this market as we see high potential. With Lettel's expertise and motivation, we will better reach our desired prospects and customers," states Lourinaldo Silva, enterprise solutions director for Alcatel in Brazil. "With this partnership, Lettel's portfolio will now include Alcatel's industry leading IP telephony and enterprise solutions, including the Alcatel OmniPCX telephony platforms and Alcatel IP Touch phones." "Our objective is to reach more than 20 channels for distributing Alcatel's enterprise solutions. Lettel, acting as a distributor for more than one decade, expanded its market and acquired great experience in integrated voice and data solutions," affirms Everson Leite, managing director of Lettel. "In addition to its qualified professionals, Lettel also counts on a partnership chain all over Brazil. All States of the Southern region, beyond the Northeastern, are being spotlighted by business opportunities.
