The MSC.MasterKey Licensing System is a renewable token-based model, enabling customers to access MSC.Software's complete portfolio of simulation tools from a single, flexible license. Included in this industry-leading portfolio are versatile analysis tools such as MSC.Nastran, MSC.Marc, and MSC.ADAMS; specialized analysis tools such as MSC.Dytran; modeling systems such as MSC.Patran; industry-specific tools such as ADAMS/Car; and many others. "We have designed the MSC.MasterKey Licensing System to give our strategic customers like John Deere the ability to quickly and easily utilize our entire software product portfolio and add tokens as usage demands," said Frank Perna, chairman and CEO of MSC.Software. "We are seeing a great response from both our strategic customers who are converting their existing licensing options to MasterKey and from our SMB customers who are adopting a token system for the first time. We are committed to continuing to enhance the MasterKey system and give our customers the depth and breadth of the product portfolio under one easy licensing system." The MSC.MasterKey Licensing System, which allows the purchase of a pool of tokens that can be utilized with the full range of software products available from MSC, is attractive to customers like Deere. "The flexibility of the MSC system is what makes John Deere's software investment both more versatile and cost effective to us," said Ken Basken, IT Team Leader, Deere & Company.
