Mellanox Promotes Wayne Augsburger to VP of Business Development

Mellanox Technologies, a leading supplier of semiconductor-based, server and storage interconnect products, today announced the promotion of Wayne Augsburger to Vice President of Business Development. In his new role Mr. Augsburger will be reporting to Eyal Waldman, Chairman, President and CEO of Mellanox Technologies. “Since joining Mellanox in 2000, Wayne has contributed greatly to Mellanox’s growth and continued revenue success,” said Eyal Waldman, Chairman, President and CEO of Mellanox Technologies. “Wayne will be instrumental in garnering and accelerating traction of Mellanox-based products into enterprise data center applications such as virtualization, database and financial services, as well as health services, insurance and Web 2.0 environments.” Wayne Augsburger has served as Mellanox’s Senior Director of Sales since 2006, and served as Director of Sales from 2000 to 2006. From January of 1997 until September of 2000, Mr. Augsburger served as VP of Sales and Marketing for Cygnet Storage Solutions, Inc., a manufacturer of automated archival storage systems. From May of 1993 until December of 1996, Mr. Augsburger served as VP of Sales and Marketing for Document Imaging Systems Corp., a developer of optical storage solutions. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Southern Illinois University. “Mellanox is well positioned to be a leader in the evolution of enterprise data centers toward converged, high-performance server, storage and I/O networking,” said Wayne Augsburger, Vice President of Business Development at Mellanox Technologies. “I am honored to be promoted to Vice President of Business Development, and am excited to spearhead Mellanox’s business engagements in this endeavor.”
