Platform Computing, immixTechnology to Deliver Grid Computing Solutions

Platform Computing, the U.S. subsidiary of the Toronto ON-based Platform Computing Corporation and immixTechnology, Inc., a leading reseller of enterprise technology to the government, today announced that Platform has selected immixTechnology to hold its General Services Administration (GSA) schedule contract for government customers. This agreement makes Platform's industry-leading High Performance Computing grid software and services available to federal, state and local agencies through immixTechnology's GSA Information Technology schedule 70 contract. immixTechnology will help facilitate the sales process between Platform and government buyers via immixTechnology's GSA schedule contract, number GS- 35F-0330J. Specifically, immixTechnology will be a reseller of Platform LSF HPC workload management software, which manages and accelerates High Performance Computing (HPC) mission-critical workloads in parallel and serial batches. Platform LSF HPC allows government agencies and laboratories to maximize use of their existing computing resources, taking full advantage of high-performance networks which link clustered systems and supercomputers. Implementation and support services for Platform LSF HPC are also available through the schedule contract.
