Sensis Corporation Completes Acquisition of Seagull Technology

Sensis Corporation has completed the acquisition of the assets of Seagull Technology (Seagull), an engineering firm specializing in transportation, information, and control system technology for the aerospace industry. With the acquisition, Seagull becomes the Sensis Corporation Seagull Technology Center. Seagull's modeling and simulation, navigation systems, aviation operational concepts, and advanced automation systems expertise further strengthens Sensis' technology portfolio. "The Technology Center provides complementary capabilities and relationships that will enable Sensis to participate more fully in key aviation research programs," said Jud Gostin, CEO, Sensis Corporation. "Further, their modeling and simulation experience combined with Sensis' experience in developing air traffic control systems in the United States and internationally will provide additional value to customers." Seagull was founded in 1985 and is headquartered in Campbell, CA, with a satellite office in Hampton, VA. The company has approximately 40 employees. Founder & CEO John Sorensen has become a Sensis Senior Fellow. Seagull President & COO Matt Blake has become Director, Sensis Corporation Seagull Technology Center.
