NeoScale CryptoStor Achieves ADIC Certification

MILPITAS, Calif. -- NeoScale Systems, Inc., leading provider of enterprise storage security solutions for the networked storage and data storage management markets today announced that the NeoScale CryptoStor(TM) for Tape has been certified for operation with ADIC Scalar 100, ADIC Scalar 1000 and ADIC Scalar 10k tape libraries. NeoScale's CryptoStor for Tape, which recently received the coveted Five-star rating in Secure Computing Magazine test lab, is designed specifically for protecting secondary storage within direct attached, networked and distributed storage infrastructures. CryptoStor for Tape is a readily deployable, high-speed tape media protection appliance that compresses, encrypts and digitally signs data as it goes to the tape media -- without disrupting backup processes. It seamlessly integrates with widely used backup applications. NeoScale CryptoStor can be used in conjunction with automated and virtual tape storage systems to significantly increase access controls to enable secure storage consolidation, assure privacy compliance, manage distributed media and secure remote backup.
