SAN JOSE, CA -- BlueArc Corporation, provider of the world's highest performance and most scalable enterprise-class network attached storage (NAS) systems, today announced that Gianluca Rattazzi has been appointed president and chief executive officer (CEO). Rattazzi will continue as chairman of the board, a role he has held since February 2000. He replaces former president and CEO Enrico Pesatori, now vice chairman of the board.
