SAN JOSE, CA -- Schlumberger Semiconductor Solutions, a business unit of Schlumberger Limited (NYSE:SLB), today announced that Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NYSE:AMD) has purchased an additional high speed ITS(R) 9000ZX digital test system that will be used to test the HyperTransport(TM)/IO Link data bus technology. AMD is using the advanced test system to help speed development of its next generation "Hammer" family of processors that employ HyperTransport technology.
